Suddenly and completely unexpectedly the executive partner of the Mayer-Kuvert-network Mr Edlef Bartl passed away on the 12th February 2014 at the age of 63 years.
In 1983 he acquired the envelope factory Ernst Mayer in Heilbronn after numerous years of working at Pitney Bowes and AWA Couvert. During the subsequent years under his administration, the group developed into the most successful envelope group in Europe. Today the Mayer-Kuvert-network consists of 50 enterprises in 23 countries with approximately 2,400 employees with over 21 billion envelopes produced per year.
With his death the envelope industry loses one of the most innovative and experienced heads.
